Enter each item's size in feet and inches and see it as a 3D box inside one or more storage units. Drag, rotate, flip and stack boxes yourself, or let auto-pack arrange a unit for you. The app shows how much space you're using and highlights any box that sits above the ceiling or overlaps another.

Layouts save in your browser automatically. You can also save named versions and export or import a layout as a file.

Why I built this

When I was shopping for a storage unit, I kept getting pitched sizes that meant nothing to me — lines on a floor that I couldn't translate into actual furniture and boxes. I built this so I could add all my belongings, adjust the unit size, and figure out exactly what I needed before committing to a monthly cost. It's for anyone about to rent a storage unit who wants to know what they're paying for before they sign.
